Twigg’s Fish Boxes in Singapore
From March through May Tony is exhibiting his “24 fish boxes” at Singapore’s Sculpture Square Citylink Project. This multi-panel work was made in Malaysia during Tony’s residency at Rimbun Dahan using discarded ‘fish boxes’ found from the kampong pasaraya. Consisting of 8 units each composed around the proposition of joining 3 ‘fish boxes’ in a construction Tony felt he was ‘jamming with the original maker’ – their richness of spirit a product or his silent conversation.
