“Drawing for me is thinking, a kind
of improvisational thinking. When they are completed all that separates
my drawings from my installations is their size, and the spatial
experience of walking through a piece rather than moving through
it visually, as one might do with a painting. Increasingly, drawing
seems to be at the core of art making for me - the place where
I can be most direct”.
